The SuperKing Superior room features incredibly comfortable Superking bed, the softest woven silk blanket, French furnishing, good size marble bathrooms with both bath and spacious walk-in shower and Arran Aromatics toiletries. These rooms exude peacefulness and simple elegance and will please traditional guests as well as boutique hotel aficionados. All the pictures on the wall have a story to tell and relate to the estate Franco-Scottish heritage, from laird in exile to Napoleonic romance. Some of our superior rooms have canopy beds (draped with lovely French toile), ideal for that special week-end away or simply to treat yourself with a great night sleep in style. Note that some of our rooms are located in our Annexe, a few steps away across the courtyard but are very much part of the original Inn. The Annexe is surrounded by pretty borders and the herb garden.
Room facilities: Walk-in Shower and separate Bath, Flat-screen TVs, luxurious hypoallergenic bedding, Arran Aromatics toiletries, hair-dryer, tea & coffee facilities and our signature sherry decanter. Travelling with children under 12: we can accommodate 1 extra folded bed per room charged at £30/night (includes breakfast). We can provide baby cots for children under 18 months (please give us enough notice). Our 2 or 3 bedroom cottages might be more suitable for larger family. Dogs: 4 legged friends are welcome in dedicated dog-friendly bedrooms ((subject to availability so give us plenty of notice) and dog beds are available on request. Maximum 2 dogs per accommodation, for large dogs we strongly recommend a one bed cottage.Dogs are welcome throughout the hotel (provided they are comfortable in a social environment) but please note that dogs MUST NOT be left alone in the room. Dogs stay for free but we reserve the right to invoice for extra cleaning in exceptional cases.
