Our Standard King rooms feature luxurious superking beds (6 ft, 180cm wide), French furnishings and beautiful bathrooms. Nestled in a charming listed building surrounded by the hotel garden, these rooms are full of character. By no means standard, you will love the top of the range mattress, the lovely crisp linen, the softest woven silk blanket and the elegant family heirlooms which all have a story to tell. The marble and wooden floor bathroom are of a good size, with a nice cast iron bath.

If you have any particular requirements regarding your bedroom, just ask us.

Some of our bedrooms are dog friendly (located on the ground floor) so if you are coming with a four legged friend please let us know in advance so we can plan for his/her stay as well.

Flat-screen TVs, luxurious hypoallergenic bedding, Arran Aromatics toiletries, hair-dryer, tea & coffee facilities and our signature sherry decanter. Travelling with children under 12: we unfortunately cannot accommodate any extra bed in our Standard Superking. Please check our Superior Superking or our Cottages. We can provide baby cots for children under 18 months. Our 2 or 3 bedroom cottages might be more suitable for larger family.

Dog: If you are planning to bring a dog you must let us know in advance as not all our rooms are dog friendly (only downstairs rooms with no carpet). Dogs stay for free if you have booked directly with us, maximum 2 dogs per accommodation. Please note that dogs MUST NOT be left alone (for a licenced local pet sitter contact Blairgowrie Walkies). Dogs are not allowed on beds and soft furnishing, we reserve the right to invoice for extra cleaning..
