About the Estate
Meikleour Estate has been supporting its local community since the 12th century. We operate across various sectors: farming, commercial and residential property rental, woodchip and log supply, our award-winning hotel and restaurant, luxury self-catering cottages, and superb salmon fishing. The estate also has unique French connections, with historic links to the Napoleonic family, and the current custodians share both French and Scottish heritage. This fascinating story is told not only by the names of our Inn’s bedrooms but also through the paintings that hang on the walls.
