Our Standard Super King rooms feature luxurious superking beds (6 ft, 180cm wide), French furnishings and beautiful bathrooms. Nestled in a charming 19th century coaching inn in Meikleour village, these rooms are full of character. You will love the top of the range Super King mattress, the lovely crisp linen and the quirky family heirlooms which all have a story to tell. The marble and wooden floor bathrooms are of a good size, with a nice cast iron bath. Our rooms are in keeping with the proportions and style of a good country village inn, if you require more space and privacy then our one-bed serviced cottages might be ideal or our 2 or 3 bedroom cottages might be more suitable for larger family.

You must tell us in advance if you plan to bring a dog as not all rooms are dog friendly. Dogs stay for free when you book directly with us and you can bring up to two small dogs or one medium size dog per room. Dogs are welcome in downstairs bedrooms with wooden floors and dog beds are available on request. They are also welcome throughout the hotel if they are comfortable in a social environment. Dogs must not be left alone in rooms at any time. For a licensed local pet sitter you can contact Blairgowrie Walkies. Dogs are not allowed on beds or soft furnishings and we reserve the right to invoice for extra cleaning. For large dogs we strongly recommend a one bed cottage. See our Dog Policy for details.
Infants under 2 year old don’t count towards our maximum room occupancy. You can borrow a baby travel cot for children under 2 years but kindly bring your own baby bedding as it is a very personal choice (blankets, sleeping bag…).
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before arrival. Credit card details are required to secure your booking. If you cancel within 48 hours of arrival, the full amount will be charged.
The minimum stay for our rooms is 1 night.
